After completing my A Levels, in 2001 I joined Linford as a trainee quantity surveyor.
I continued my studies while working, achieving first a National Certificate in Building and then a Higher National Certificate in Construction.
Having been promoted to assistant quantity surveyor in 2002 I was then promoted again to quantity surveyor in 2005.
I am now in my final year studying BSc (Hons) in Commercial Management and Quantity Surveying. I am also working to further promote skills and learning in the industry as a Construction Ambassador for CITB, the national training organisation for the UK construction industry.

- Belvoir Castle: restoration - brickwork repairs and roof replacement
- Derby Magistrates Courts: joinery fit-out
- St. Mary's and St. Margaret's Church: restoration including stonework, leadwork and roof repairs
